Hello, I am Henning M. Lederer.
Since February 2006 I have been working as a freelance graphic designer and motion graphics artist, working for several international clients. I am currently based in Essen, Germany.
Next to commercial projects and tasks, I am always working on personal projects, short videos and creative collaborations as well – exploring the field of motion design and visual communication.
Concerning my background, I studied Visual Communication at the FH Düsseldorf (University of Applied Sciences) after passing the German Abitur and completing one year of civilian service working with disabled people.
Whilst studying I created several animation- and motion-design projects, as well as posters, books and print layouts. Finally, in the winter term of 2005/06, I graduated with the film “little fable” as my final project.
From October 2008 until September 2009 I decided to study again – completing the Digital Arts course at the Norwich University College of the Arts, UK – and graduated as a Master of Arts, with distinction.
